The Bachelor of Science in Human Services (BSHS) provides
students the opportunity to learn the skills, knowledge,
and attitudes of a professional human service worker. Through
course work, students learn about human development, problems
in human functioning, programs for helping people with their
problems, advocacy and influencing public policy, and crisis
intervention. In field experience, students learn how to
apply what they have learned to manage cases, organize helping
services and programs, assess need, and provide help.
